Award: Data Center Environmental Impact Award

Requirements: The Data Center Environmental Impact Award supports environmental research on how data centers impact human life and wildlife habitats. Requirements for the study include (1) conducting studies documenting environmental conditions in targeted areas proximal to data centers, (2) document findings and share updates, (3) produce a written analysis of research findings, (4) educate local communities via local advocacy groups. JFETF will be provided with a copy of the study within 30 days of its issuance, and reserves the right to distribute it as JFETF determines.
