Details: Data center development has exploded in our region. Research, analyze, and write about local environmental issues, focusing on how climate change might affect our area and what can be done to mitigate these effects. What impact will it have on the local environment, including: nearby residents; air pollution and CO2 emissions; water runoff, usage, and pollution; noise and light pollution; truck traffic on local roads; County services; wildlife; etc. How will the increased electricity demand be met? From polluting fossil fuels, or green energy? What should be done to mitigate the damage caused by these centers?

Status: Completed: A presentation was made at the Youth Climate Summit in February 2024
